Micro Collie Dog
Here we will be tying a micro version of the fly Collie Dog.
The the Collie Dog is originally from Scotland as I best know and made by a man there named George Ross. The Collie Dog fly is a great pattern for the north Atlantic salon. Works perfect int the midsummer and the fall. However the fly will catch more fish than only salmon. It' may hook you up with a pretty brown or-, seatrout too. Tied as a micro fly it's great edition of it for low water season and difficult circumstances on the river. Simple to tie and totally worth keeping a few in your box when you go fishing!

Long story longer
The Global FlyFisher has been online since the mid-90's and has been free to access for everybody since day one – and will stay free for as long as I run it.
But that doesn't mean that it's free to run.
It costs money to drive a large site like this.
