In search of action, we hit the road to Mauricie for a pike and lake trout fishing excursion. We packed the Hooké Van with big flies, steel leaders and solid rods before taking off for the Lake Oscar Outfitters. When we arrived, we met Donald Farrar. «Everything in yellow is a good spot » he told us while highlighting here and there on a map. And that’s how we ended up following a big fat yellow line along the grassy bays of the Flamand River and the deep pools of lake Oscar in search of mean pikes and voracious lake trout.

Long story longer

The Global FlyFisher has been online since the mid-90's and has been free to access for everybody since day one – and will stay free for as long as I run it.
But that doesn't mean that it's free to run.
It costs money to drive a large site like this.
